Transitioning towards a Circular Economy – Opportunities & Challenges

MET Institute of Management, Mumbai and the International Council for Circular Economy (ICCE- largest international network for professionals, corporates and organizations working in the Circular Economy in India) invite you for submitting your research paper during the “International Conference on Transitioning towards a Circular Economy – Opportunities & Challenges’ on 19th November 2022”

About the Conference:

A lot of discussions have been initiated regarding the transition to the circular economy approach to eliminate waste products. What hinders this transition is identifying and grasping the opportunities that exist in the micro and macro markets to redesign the circular principles. The ultimate aim of this conference is to encourage leading corporates, researchers from government and public organizations, non-profit organizations, industry practitioners, academicians, scholars, and masters and undergraduate students to examine managerial implications and interdisciplinary approaches.

The circular economy model is all about closed loops, where we extract the maximum value from the products and materials and then recover and regenerate the economical symbiosis of businesses. This transition necessitates circular thinking and an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates socio-technical, managerial, and environmental factors. These transitional processes need revisiting that will be feasible for not only the effective application but also for a holistic sustainable application. We invite original research contributions.
