To build a circular economy society, we need a broad shift in attitudes and operating methods. Professionals, specialists, and decision-makers will play a critical role in constructing a new world, both now and in the future. Education plays an important role in developing experts. In response to the transition away from conventional forms of learning, International Council for Circular Economy has developed an online self-paced course for AICTE SWAYAM MOOCs platform.
On the 28th of December, Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman at All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), released the course titled “Linear to Circular Economy”. His motivational remarks at the launch ceremony enlightened the audience on the significance of circular economy learning in India. He complimented the council on its achievements and encouraged it to continue developing more sector-specific courses as well as Faculty Development Programs for the academia. Prof. M P Poonia, Vice chairman AICTE and Member Secretary, Prof. Rajive Kumar also graced the occasion.

The launch event witnessed the presence of the AICTE Council, leaders and practitioners of circular economy and renowned identities from academia and industry. The Managing Director of ICCE, Ms Shalini Goyal Bhalla, also the instructor of the online course, gave a presentation on the course and its content. A global expert in Circular Economy, she elaborated the importance of research and innovation in this sector to promote circular business models.

International Council for Circular Economy (ICCE) has evolved as a thought leader in building regenerative and resilient systems. The council is working in research and capacity building in India.
