The living laboratory is expected to provide seamless transfer of knowledge from research findings, reusability and replicability tools to help foster effective transformational solutions for business and society. They would prepare & equip students with the core principles of Circular Economy, sustainability, Climate Change and Mission Life fundamentals that are needed to solve today’s problems through innovative business solutions. They also help the existing incubation/hatcheries/accelerator infrastructure in colleges to develop business ideas to further be supported through pre-incubation & incubation process.
Because in a globalized supply chain, moving towards a circular economy requires international cooperation, we believe that large economies such as the EU and India have a key role to play in the global transition towards a circular economy and a lot to gain from stronger business cooperation and aligned legislation.
The launch also saw the inaugural of International Research Conference Circular Economy Transitioning Towards A Circular Economy – Opportunities & Challenges’, Dr. Swati Lodha, Director, MET IOM set the tone of event by giving an overview of the concept of the Circular Economy and its impacts.
